Schools Program

Collierville Schools Partnership

Starting January 2017, Collierville Soccer Association (CSA) Lobos Rush began begin programing to bring professional level soccer instruction to Collierville Schools.  The rollout of soccer specific training will begin with K-5 students at Bailey Station and Sycamore elementary schools.  The program will then expand to include the three remaining elementary schools.

“Collierville is a huge soccer community but there are still many children who have yet to be exposed to soccer for a variety of reasons. Our mission is to promote and grow the game of soccer to the widest possible audience.”, stated Paul Furlong, CSA Lobos Rush Executive Director.  He went on to say “by joining forces with Collierville Schools we’re able to offer professional level instruction at no cost to participants or Collierville Schools.”

Julia Osmond and David McAlister, CSA Lobos Rush Assistant Directors of Coaching, will lead the Collierville Schools program.  They have worked closely with Reginald Summerville (PE Lead) and Louise Claney (Chief of Curriculum) to structure the program and ensure it complements the Physical Education curriculum.

CSA Lobos Rush is the official soccer service provider to the Town of Collierville for recreational and competitive soccer and the new programming with Collierville Schools underlines the clubs commitment to developing soccer in the Collierville community.
